Customer Service Role - Biteable

Do you love startups? And videos? At Biteable we love both, and we’re looking for someone with drive and passion to assist our customer service team.

What you’ll need to work at Biteable:

  • Computer skills
  • A self-starting attitude
  • Problem-solving skills
  • A sense of humour (non-negotiable)

It’d be great (but not essential) if you had:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Skill using Biteable and/or Intercom
  • Knowledge of web development, graphic design or video production
  • Fluency in languages other than English

What we’re after:

Biteable is an Australian startup that makes animated videos. We’re growing fast, and we now need customer service coverage in US or European business hours. Initially, it’ll be a few hours daily, with some supervision from the head of customer service. After the initial training, you’ll mostly be working alone, but with occasional direction and input from the team.

This will preferably be 7 days a week, for a short amount of time each day. We’ll start with a trial period to ensure you’re a good fit for us, and that we’re a good fit for you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Answering customer queries
  • Passing on suggestions and feedback
  • Giving your own feedback
  • Improving the information given to customers (FAQ’s, email answers, how-to videos etc.)
  • Assisting in process creation
  • Interacting with the team to ensure you’re up to date on what’s happening at Biteable
