Celebrate the end of World War 2.
On August 15th, 1945, Japan accepted the Potsdam Declaration. This was a formal surrender to the allies and with no enemy left to fight, the United States could celebrate the end of WWII. A few weeks later, the official end of WWII was marked down on September 2nd, 1945. VJ day is a moment for celebrating your freedom and your country. Throw a (socially-distanced) street party, sing the national anthem, or just post this video to your feed. This year is particularly special as it’s 75 years since the end of the war.
Share this video to honor those who fought in WWII and anyone who has given their lives in the name of freedom.
