Get over all that pre-thanksgiving cooking anxiety.
If you’ve ever felt stressed about cooking during the run up to Thanksgiving, then this day’s for you. It was created by author Ellyn Anne Geisel back in 2005. She was stressfully preparing for Thanksgiving so she skipped making a pumpkin pie. Instead she made sweet bread, and decided to give it to a neighbor of hers. She was so overcome with joy, she felt compelled to make a day out of this practice for others to make a habit of. To observe Tie One On Day, get into the kitchen early, on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Then bake a sweet bread and wrap it in an apron and deliver it to someone you care about.
Tell your audience to go to the kitchen and get baking, and get them to tag their like-minded friends that need to prepare for the big day.
